Option#1 SMOKO, TEXAS LONGHORN WAGON TOUR & SADDLE SHOP TOUR (9.30AM)

• Delicious Aussie Smoko including camp oven cooked damper/scones and billy tea plus Texas chocolate Brownies all served from a genuine 'made in Texas' Cowboy Chuck Wagon.

• Horse drawn canvas covered wagon ride viewing the largest herd of purebred Texas Longhorns in Australia including the steer that has the Guinness World Record for the longest horns in the world.  You will also see the buffalo herd as well as wildlife such as kangaroos etc. 

• Guided tour and demonstrations in the renowned Bethel Saddlery custom saddle shop
• Gift shop & saddle shop are open

TEXAS LONGHORN SAFARIS - Tuesday & Saturday 9.00AM (Opening 7th February )

• Weather conditions may prevent us operating from time to time, if unsure please call in advance

• We will be operating the Safari on more days as we get further into the year

• If you have a group of 6 or more please contact us for availability on other days

Map/Directions

Drive North towards Greenvale on the Gregory Developmental Road.
Travel 2km past the cemetery and turn left onto Urdera Road (Look for the Texas Longhorn Wagon Tours & Bethel Saddlery sign)
You will cross a small causeway and then pass through a cattle grid and then come to a fork in road.
Take the left fork and after crossing another small causeway you will come to our big white gates with the Leahton Park sign on the top.
Just drive on through the double white gates and the homestead is just 250 metres up the road.
When you get to the homestead drive on through the cattle grid and following the parking signs.

Charters Towers to the Udera Road turn-off is approx. 5km
Gregory Developmental Road to Leahton Park is approx. 5km.
