Texas Longhorns have many well known traits but the best know of them all is their famous long horns.  This page will show what we can determine at the moment to be the longest horned Texas Longhorns in the world and will also showcase Horseshoe B Longhorns very own 'JR' who has the longest horns (measured from tip to tip) of any beast in Australia. 

The information below, to the best of our knowledge was correct at the time of writing; October, 2009.  We encourage anyone who has an exceptionaly long horned animal to send us photos and some information that we can add to our horn showcase page.

Longest horned bull in USA: Heavy Hitter
Length: 83 1/8”
DOB: July 21, 1993








Longest horned cow in USA: Temptations Fancy
Length: 84 1/2”
DOB: December 21, 1997








Longest horned steer in USA: Big Red, owned by El Coyote Ranch
Length: 9’ 5/8” or 108 5/8”
DOB: April 13, 1999
